Off-campus access is available only to MCCC EMPLOYEES and CURRENTLY REGISTERED MCCC STUDENTS. Here’s how: From the MCCC library home 页面, click on the A-Z Database link. Click on the database you want to search (make sure your computer settings allow cookies and pop-ups). 您将看到一个屏幕，询问以下内容:

Patrons are responsible for all materials that they check out of the 图书馆. If a book is lost or damaged, the patron is responsible for the cost of replacing the item. Replacement costs vary by book and the library charges a $10 fee to process the replaced material.
学生帐户
A student charged for lost or damaged materials will have a hold placed on his or her account. This hold prevents the student from checking out other materials. When the item is returned and/or paid for the hold will be removed.

退房登记/循环
Books and circulating serials can be checked out for two weeks, 再加上两个两周的续订期. Patrons can only check out five books in a subject area. Renewals can be done over the phone when books are not overdue. Books that have been placed on "hold" by other students may not be renewed. Only currently enrolled students, alumni and staff may check out 图书馆 materials. Books can be returned in the book drop when the 图书馆 is closed. The book drop is located at the northeast corner of the building.

The library has several collaborative study areas available on a first come first serve basis.
储备
教师 may place books, articles, audiotapes or films "on reserve" at the circulation desk. 储备材料 generally have very short circulation times, 时间从一小时到一周不等. Most DVDs that are placed on reserve may only be viewed in the library. 教师 with questions about 储备材料 should direct them to the Circulation Assistant.

Librarians are available for classroom presentations outlining particular resources or materials. Classroom faculty are encouraged to notify the librarians about an assignment that may require extensive use of resources.
